You may meet ND artists and as always you can learn about our programs.

Get ready for the Solar Festival in creative company!

Join us at the Neurodiversity Community Center for a relaxed, collaborative Costume-Making Clinic in the days leading up to the festival. Bring your own costume ideas and materials—fabric, old clothes, recycled treasures, craft supplies—and we’ll make magic together!

We’ll provide tables, tools, inspiration, and a space to create alongside others. Whether you’re sewing, gluing, stapling, or dreaming up something wild and wonderful, you don’t have to do it alone.

All ages welcome. Come connect, create, and shine with us!

Celebrate the height of the SUN and the season of creativity, connection, and community with us at our Solar Festival on Sunday, June 22!

Come dressed in your most radiant costume (if you so choose)—think sunshine, stars, flowers, fire, fantasy, or whatever lights you up! This is a day for joyful expression, celebrating neurodiversity, and welcoming the warmth of summer together.

We’ll have:

• 🌻 Creative activities for kids and adults

• 🎨 A costume-making clinic in the days leading up to the festival (details coming soon!)

• ☀️ Seasonal treats and sensory-friendly spaces

• 🌀 Opportunities to connect, learn about our programs, and explore what makes our community center unique

Join us to Hang Out and Venture Out into the community!! - We will gather at the NCC to come up with a plan for venturing out into our amazing community of Old Town Lafayette…together to see what is going on :) YES!!

We can check out local food venues, check out street art (maybe come back and make some), see what the local bookstore is offering…go into the Flea Market and see what obscure treasures we can find…get some fancy chocolate at Stam’s…venture down to Coal Creek Trail… really whatever you all want to do with the three hours we have together. We will go where the wind blows us :)
